WELCOME TO AREEKA WEB
About your privacy and this privacy policy
Your privacy is extremely important to us. We are constantly putting a great deal of thought, effort, tools, resources and procedures in place in order to protect and safeguard your privacy. This document is our "Privacy Policy" and contains details on issues related to your privacy when using our services. This Privacy Policy applies to visitors to the public websites owned and operated by AREEKA WEB, the registered users of AREEKA WEB’s associated mobile and web application (collectively with the websites, the "Platform"), and to the therapists that provide the mental health Services ("Therapists"). It is intended to inform you of our policies, procedures and practices regarding the collection, use and disclosure of any information that you provide through the Platform.
The Privacy Policy is part of our Terms and Conditions. The terms in the Privacy Policy (such as, but not limited to, "we", "our", "us", "Platform", and "Therapist Services") have the same meaning as in our Terms and Conditions document. When you use our Platform you accept and agree to both the Terms and Conditions and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to be bound to the Privacy Policy you should stop using the Platform immediately or cease to provide the Therapist Services, as applicable. By accessing and using our Platform or providing the Therapist Services, as applicable, you affirm that you have read the Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy and that you understand, agree to and acknowledge all the terms contained in both of them.
The policy is founded on these rules:
Data that you are asked to be included are the key information needed to complete the process of booking appointments with a Therapist. Whatever information you provide during your therapy sessions is your own and you share it with the Therapist (based on a confidential relationship and respect for privacy). We do not collect, process or retrieve any information exchanged between you and the Therapist during the session. Nobody will know about your sessions with a Therapist through the site AREEKA WEB unless you tell them about it yourself. As part of our ability to offer our services, select members of the AREEKA WEB team, such as the site administrators, will be aware of your engagement in therapy sessions. The site administrators monitor your feedback in order to ensure you are receiving the highest level of service possible and to measure efficiency.
AREEKA WEB is devoted to safeguarding the private information of our clients and employees and to ensuring the highest level of confidentiality of our records. This Privacy Policy describes the information we collect, how we use it, and the standards and procedures put in place to safeguard your personal, non-public information.
AREEKA WEB, its personnel, and its affiliates strictly adhere to this Privacy Policy and the security practices and procedures described herein to ensure the confidentiality of customer information. It is AREEKA WEB’s policy to comply with all laws and regulations relating to the privacy of our clients’ private information (PI) and private health information (PHI).
Except as permitted by law, or as otherwise described below, AREEKA WEB does not disclose any PI/PHI about its customers, or former customers, or employees, to anyone.

The uses of the collected data by AREEKA WEB
AREEKA WEB uses non-identifying and aggregate information to better design our website and to use in research and trend analyses. For example, we may tell an advertiser that X number of individuals visited a certain area on our website, or that Y number of men and Z number of women filled out a site survey or form, but we would not disclose anything that could be used to identify those individuals. We only provide data to our partners, if any, after we have removed your name and any other personally identifying information from it, or have combined it with other people's data in a way that it no longer personally identifies you.
AREEKA WEB uses non-identifying and aggregate information about responses to the clinical outcome assessments (personal assessments), and the frequency of the utilisation of the AREEKA WEB service. These efforts enhance program evaluation.
The anonymous and aggregated data may also be published through various media platforms/academic journals. No personal identifying information is tied to the results, and AREEKA WEB does not share anything that could be used to identify your account or your private information.
From time to time, we may use customer information for new, unanticipated uses not previously disclosed in our privacy notice. If our information practices change at some time in the future we will contact you before we use your data for these new purposes, to notify you of the policy change, and to provide you with the ability to opt out of these new uses.
AREEKA WEB stores data only for as long as it is necessary to provide products and services to you and others, including those described above, and for legal protections, or as required by applicable laws and regulations.
AREEKA WEB may enable access to public information that has been shared through our services.
AREEKA WEB may allow service Therapists to access information so they can help us provide services. IP addresses are used to identify the location of users, the number of visits from different countries, to block disruptive use, and to analyse and improve the services offered on our website, for example, to provide you with the most user-friendly navigation experience.
Certain information is needed to provide you with services, so we only delete this information after you delete your account. Some forms of processing (sending promotional information, commercial profiling, behavioral advertising, geo-location, etc.) may require the express consent of the User. Specific information may be shown on the pages of the Site in connection with particular services or processing of Data provided by the Site User.
Upon request, we provide site visitors with access to a description of information that we maintain about them. AREEKA WEB uses industry-standard encryption technologies when transferring and receiving consumer data exchanged with our site. If you feel that this site is not following its stated information policy, you may contact us [email protected].
For content that is covered by intellectual property rights, like photos and videos, you specifically grant AREEKA WEB a non-exclusive, transferable, sub-licensable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use any IP content that you post on or in connection with AREEKA WEB (IP License). This IP License ends when you delete your IP content or your account unless your content has been shared with others, and they have not deleted it. This paragraph does NOT apply to photos, images or other videos shared ONLY with your Therapist in your private “Room” on the Platform.
When you delete your IP content, it is deleted in a manner similar to emptying the recycle bin on a computer. However, you understand that removed content may persist in backup copies for a reasonable period of time (but will not be available to others).
Protection: How we protect personal information
We restrict access to information about you to those employees who need to know that information as part of their job responsibilities. We also educate our employees about the importance of confidentiality and customer privacy through standard operating procedures, special training programs, and our Code of Conduct. We take appropriate disciplinary measures to enforce employee privacy responsibilities. We have developed precautions to ensure the security and confidentiality of customer records and information, to guard against any anticipated threats or hazards to the security or integrity of such records, and to protect against unauthorised access to, or use of, such records or information which could result in substantial harm or inconvenience to our clients or our employees.
AREEKA WEB maintains strict information security procedures to protect the confidentiality of your information. We update our technology to improve the protection of information storage.
How we protect non-public, personal information
We protect your non-public, personal information by:
● Restricting access to customer information only to those personnel for whom the information is necessary.
● Entering into written confidentiality/non-disclosure agreements with third party service providers and Therapists for certain disclosures.
● Conducting Security Training and Awareness training programs to communicate and educate employees about information security policies and procedures in order to make them aware of their roles and responsibilities in safeguarding information resources.
● AREEKA WEB uses firewall barriers and digital certifications to maintain the security of your online sessions and information.
● We do not collect any non-public personal information about visitors on our website, unless information is provided to us voluntarily or derived from website navigation and usage of the AREEKA WEB website and online platforms.
● We may gather and analyse information regarding usage of our website, including domain name, the number of hits, the pages visited, previous/subsequent sites visited, and length of user sessions. This information may be gathered by using cookies. AREEKA WEB uses cookies and similar technologies to track usage of the website and to address security issues. We may also use cookies to store your preferences relating to the use of our website. A cookie is a small amount of data, which often includes a unique identifier, that is sent to your computer, tablet, phablet, cell phone or other electronic device (referred to here as a "device") browser from a website's computer and is stored on your device's hard drive. Each website can send its own cookie to your browser if your browser's preferences allow it, but (to protect your privacy) your browser only permits a website to access the cookies it has already sent to you, not the cookies sent to you by other sites. Many sites do this whenever a user visits their website in order to track traffic flows.
Cookies record information about your preferences and allow us to tailor AREEKA WEB to your interests. During the course of, or any visit to, the Site, the pages you see, along with a cookie, are downloaded to your device. Many websites do this, because cookies enable website publishers to do useful things such as finding out whether the device (and probably its user) has visited the website before. This is done on a repeat visit by checking for the cookie left there on the previous visit. Information supplied by cookies can help us to analyse the profile of our visitors so we can provide you with a better user experience.
