hello . Although my various training courses allow me to use several technical tools and theoretical support, and that I adapt the techniques used according to each one and the clients' needs (which can also evolve during the work), it is the psychodynamic approach which is privileged: This approach derived from a psychoanalytical orientation is based on the existence of the unconscious, and that everything is not only a matter of conscious will or intellectual understanding. A large place is given to what the body says, the emotions, the patterns that we repeat in spite of ourselves, what is beyond us or makes us uncomfortable (without us always understanding why) , but also what makes us happy and energetic. The main interest of this approach is not to focus only on the symptoms: indeed, the human being is perceived as a global whole, taking place within a system (environment, relationships, family, professional, emotional, which is tied across generations as well). Techniques are used as tools that allow us to approach what is at stake in us (sometimes without our knowledge): it is basically an approach based on the patient's words and on active, attentive, and benevolent listening to the therapist. (Note that this does not mean being faced with a silent therapist, the sessions take the form of an interview where both client and therapist interact). The Soma also has its place in therapy. The body has its memory hence the importance of listening to the body with its different manifestations is essential.
